Are some of the features not working on your WordPress website? How about errors but you don’t have any idea what it is?
Here are some troubleshooting tips you can do:
Use the Health Check & Troubleshooting Plugin
With this plugin, you can enable/disable themes and plugins one by one without ruining your site, the visitors will still continue to view your site normally while in troubleshooting mode, only the administrator – while logged in- can see the changes.
This plugin also shows your installation and server’s:
Status
Info
And also, there’s Tools to check plugin compatibility, mail function and core files integrity.
Using this plugin is normally the first thing I do if there are issues in the website before I do anything else.
If you can access cPanel:
- Check Error Logs
- Check .htaccess
- Check File Permissions
- Check and Optimize the Database
But of course, this will depend on your WordPress website’s issues/errors, will discuss some of the WordPress errors soon.
